When using the snatch straps, it is crucial to prioritize safety and follow the provided instructions diligently. Ensure that all individuals involved in the recovery operation are kept at a safe distance when taking up the strain. Avoid placing the strap over a towball or wrapping it around the axle with a shackle, as this can cause damage and potential accidents.

Our snatch straps are manufactured locally with high-quality webbing. They include anti-recoil straps to prevent recoil in case of breakage due to excessive horsepower usage. The snatch straps are made from nylon webbing, which has a stretching capacity of 10-15% before reaching its full effect.

The 50,000Kg snatch straps are suitable for various applications, including SP Harvesters, SP Boomsprays, tractor and trailed boomsprays, smaller 4WDs, air-seeder combinations, and single trailer truck units with up to approximately 300-350HP pulling capacity.

To accompany the 50,000Kg snatch strap, a 17.5 Tonne Rated Shackle is recommended. This shackle weighs 7.2kg and has a 43mm pin.

For enhanced recovery performance, it is recommended to use a Bridle on the stuck machine, particularly for SP Sprayers and Harvesters. The Bridle attaches to two positions on the stuck vehicle, allowing for a center line pull to control the direction and distribute the pull load to two points.

The 50,000Kg Bridle has a length of 5 metres. It requires two 9 Tonne Rated Shackles for proper attachment.

All shackles provided are European rated to ensure reliable performance and safety.

Please remember to respect the inherent dangers associated with using snatch straps around machinery. Follow all instructions provided with the straps, secure the anti-recoil straps whenever supplied, and exercise common sense throughout the recovery operation.

On destruction tests using a purpose-built test bench, our straps are designed to break where the sewing ends to form the eye.

If the webbing strap is cut or damaged, DO NOT USE it.
