  1. Safety First: Always prioritize safety when using snatch straps. Keep all individuals involved in the recovery operation at a safe distance when taking up the strain.

  2. Proper Usage: Never place a strap over a towball or wrap the end of the snatch strap around an axle and then secure it with a shackle. This improper usage can cause the strap to tighten around the axle and potentially lead to cutting or damage.

  3. High-Quality Manufacturing: Our snatch straps are manufactured locally using high-quality webbing. They are designed to stretch up to 10-15% before achieving full effect.

  4. Anti-Recoil Straps: All of our snatch straps include anti-recoil straps to prevent strap recoil in case of breakage due to excessive horsepower (HP) being used.

  5. Suitable Applications: The 32,000Kg snatch strap is suitable for various vehicles and equipment, including spreader trucks, 6-wheelers, tractor and boom-spray combinations, FWA tractors, and smaller articulated 4WDs with up to approximately 240hp towing capacity.

  6. Shackle Recommendation: The 12-tonne shackle is recommended for use with the 32,000Kg snatch strap. It weighs 4.6kg and has a 34mm pin.

  7. Bridle Recommendation: It is recommended to use a bridal on the stuck vehicle for an even pull from two positions and additional length. A 4-metre bridal requires 2 pieces of 6-tonne rated shackles.

  8. Custom Lengths: We can accommodate custom length requests for snatch straps, typically within 2-5 working days.

  9. European Rated Shackles: All our shackles meet European rating standards.

  10. Shipping: We ship daily throughout Australia.

Our snatch straps are designed to break at the sewing ends to form the eye during destruction tests on a purpose-built test bench. If the webbing strap is cut or damaged, it should not be used.
