Introducing our 15 Metre, 26,000Kg Snatch Strap, now available in stock! These snatch straps are designed for safe and effective use in various towing applications.

Safety is of utmost importance when using snatch straps, so it is crucial to use them correctly and prioritize safety. Never wrap the end of the strap around the axle and secure it with a shackle through the loop and back over the strap. This improper usage can cause the strap to tighten around the axle and potentially result in cutting or damage, especially if there are sharp edges. Always follow proper usage guidelines to ensure the safe and effective operation of the snatch strap.

Our snatch straps are manufactured with high-quality webbing, ensuring durability and reliability. We strive to carry stock lengths, and custom straps can be ordered to meet your specific requirements. Snatch straps are made from nylon webbing that can stretch up to 10-15% before reaching their full effect.

To enhance safety, all our snatch straps include anti-recoil straps, which help prevent strap recoil in case of breakage. This additional feature adds an extra layer of protection during towing operations.

The 26,000Kg 15 Metre Snatch Strap weighs approximately 9.1 kg and is suitable for a range of applications, including spreader trucks, tandem drive tip trucks, tractor and boomspray combinations, and smaller 4WD vehicles with towing tractors up to about 200hp.

For proper attachment to the snatch strap, we recommend using a 9 Tonne rated shackle with a 32mm pin. This shackle provides a secure connection point for efficient and reliable towing.

When dealing with a stuck vehicle, it is recommended to use a Bridle, which allows for an even pull from two positions on the stuck vehicle. Additionally, using a Bridle provides an extra 1.5 meters of length to accommodate towing requirements. A 4-meter Bridle requires two pieces of 6 Tonne Rated Shackles for proper attachment.

For securing the anti-recoil straps, we recommend using 2 Tonne Shackles, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness.

Remember to respect the inherent dangers when using snatch straps around machinery. Follow all provided instructions meticulously, secure anti-recoil straps whenever supplied, and employ common sense at all times.

During destruction tests using purpose-built test bench, our straps are designed to break where the sewing ends to form the eye.
